In 1978 he went to work for Pendu, Inc., as Regional Sales Representative in the Midwestern states, receiving the "Highest Sales Volume for 1978" award.

Bob started Bob Hanna Machinery Sales Company in 1978 and West Plains Machinery Company in 1983, both in West Plains, Missouri. This led him into designing, building and selling pallet and sawmill equipment and a government contract with pallets.

Since 1989 he has become more involved in the machinery division, designing and building pallet mill equipment worldwide, and has now opened a new company, Global Machinery Sales. With 30 years of experience he is also qualified to do appraisals of machinery.
